This complex, was in the past, a Convent. It is located in beautiful Sarteano, along the walls of one of the historic centers of the country. Spread over two floors above ground and a first floor below as well as the surrounding courtyard where there is a building in ruins and a view of adjacent land. The entire property is used as a tourist resort. The silhouette of an L on the ground floor extends along a central body where there are large lobbies with access to seven bedrooms with a living room and private bathroom. Located along the main body there is a conservatory used as a communal reading room used by all guests. The basement, accessible from the courtyard and surrounded by a staircase from the ground floor, which leads into the farmhouse porch, hallway to the guest reception and various storage rooms, cellars and woodshed. The property is constructed of masonry, with wooden floors, partly brick and partly painted, sometimes in brick plastered and painted, roof is tiles and brickwork. External walls are of stone. Internally this historic residence has been finished with tiled floors and single, plastered walls, partly painted and partly stone walls, bathrooms and kitchens are fully tiled. Wood interior doors, windows and patio doors and glass in some cases with dark interiors. The property is equipped with electric, water and heating. The property includes a small garden enclosed by walls on one side and is accessible from the courtyard itself to view the breathtaking landscape of the Val di Chiana valley, another is from the house and another two from access to the property and the antique ruin. Overall, the property is in good condition and maintenance of the architecture has been conserved authentically. Inside the courtyard, is located a building to be restructured and is devoid of intermediate floors. This building is recoverable using restructuring methods that include using the same authentic architectural standards and designs of the building. The adjacent land, located downstream of the property on the north side, is used as a grove. Following major renovations and restoration, the building was able to regain it's own peculiar characteristics and environmental factors, as well as providing fine accommodation and functionality. This new destination hotel is able to accommodate customers in the large panoramic dining rooms and bedrooms with bathrooms, furnished with period furniture, all encompassed by a large garden with shady Pine Trees and the vastness of the landscape on the lakes. The residence, built directly on the castle walls of Sarteano, offers guests a new enjoyment of ancient spaces, peace and tranquility. The hotel restaurant offers arrangements of four double rooms, two triple and one quadruple. Each room contains fragments of monastic life. The quadruple room, which overlooks the Val di Chiana and Lakes Trasimeno, Chiusi and Montepulciano, was formerly the property of Abbess: inside is still the original oven for baking. The decor of the rooms is in harmony with the environment and ceilings remain intact with beams. Guests have access to a good selection of local wines, especially the Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Chianti Classico.
